In recent years, many graduates of Lithuanian universities have applied for fellowships. A total of 66 fellowships have been awarded so far. Many fellowship holders come from engineering disciplines, especially environmental sciences, natural sciences such as biology, chemistry and physics, as well as law and economics, architecture, agriculture, etc.
We would like to explicitly point out that applications from the social and cultural sciences are also very welcome.

Essential information about the fellowship can be found here.
Please note that the online application procedure is available in both German and English.
In 2010, the former funded fellowship holders founded the Lithuanian Alumni Association to ensure continuous contact among current and former fellowship holders and to establish a network of environmental experts.
The Alumni Association actively participates in the promotion of the fellowship programme in Lithuania, helps or supports the candidates with their application, provides important information and tips for the stay abroad and is represented at the introductory seminar. With the support of the DBU, the Lithuanian Alumni Association, together with the Estonian and Latvian Alumni Associations, organizes an annual Baltic Alumni Meeting as well as national and international workshops. Contact persons are Tadas Kancevicius and Antanas Staskevicius.
